Stainless steel service trolley with 3 stainless steel shelves
A service trolley moves hot and cold dishes, glassware, cutlery and ingredients from the kitchen to the dining area without lifting. The shelves hold the load at waist height, so staff push rather than carry, and the wheels steer in any direction to navigate tight corners and crowded worktops. The weight stays balanced over the frame, preventing tipping when the trolley is fully loaded.
The operator loads each shelf in turn, starting with the heaviest items on the lower shelf to keep the centre of gravity low. Plates, trays and containers are placed directly on the stainless steel surface; the rounded edges prevent snagging and make wiping easier. Once loaded, the trolley is pushed to the service point, where staff unload from the top down to avoid reaching over heavy items. The rubber shock absorbers cushion the wheels against bumps, reducing noise and preventing spills.
The trolley is built entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel, a grade chosen for its resistance to corrosion and staining in a busy kitchen. The shelves are formed from a single sheet with high thickness, giving rigidity without adding weight. The lower level is folded and soundproofed, so metal trays and pans do not rattle during transit. Four multidirectional wheels, each 125 mm in diameter, allow the trolley to turn on the spot and roll smoothly over uneven floors.
The 1100 mm length provides space for large trays or multiple smaller items side by side, while the 600 mm width fits through standard kitchen doorways. The 1000 mm height places the top shelf at a comfortable working level, reducing bending and reaching. A total load capacity of 150 kg means the trolley can carry a full service of plated meals, beverages and accompaniments without straining the frame or wheels.
Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless steel surfaces are wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each use. The rounded edges and seamless construction prevent dirt from collecting in corners. The wheels are checked periodically for debris that could impede movement, and the shock absorbers are inspected for wear to maintain quiet operation.
The FORCAR CA1431 is a single model with no variants, designed for general catering use in restaurants, hotels and event venues.
