A temperature control knob regulates the wash cycle on professional dishwashers, glasswashers and cupwashers by adjusting the water temperature within a set range. The knob turns a potentiometer or a mechanical linkage that signals the heating element to maintain the chosen level, balancing cleaning power against energy use and cycle time. Higher settings dissolve grease and sanitise, while lower ones protect delicate glassware and reduce scaling in hard-water areas.
The operator selects the desired temperature by rotating the knob to the marked position, typically before starting the machine. Once set, the dishwasher uses the chosen value for every cycle until the knob is adjusted again. The scale runs from 0 to 90 °C, allowing fine control over the wash process without requiring separate programmes.
This knob is a single-piece moulding in black plastic, 41 mm in diameter. The face carries raised numerals and a pointer for clear reading under kitchen lighting. A central fixing screw secures it to the control panel, ensuring it stays aligned during repeated use.
The 41 mm diameter matches the standard cut-out on the control panels of the listed models, so it fits directly without modification. The 0-90 °C range covers the full spectrum of professional wash cycles, from delicate glassware at the lower end to heavy-duty pot-washing at the upper.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the face with a damp cloth; the plastic resists water and mild detergents. Avoid abrasives or solvents that could damage the numerals or the finish.
The knob is supplied as a single article, with no variants. It replaces the original part on ANGELO PO, CF CENEDESE, COLGED, COMPACT, CR 2082, ELETTROBAR, GIGA, HILTA, HORECA SELECT, IME OMNIWASH, LINEA BLANCA, LUXIA, MAKRO-PROFESSIONAL, MBM, METRO AG, METRO FRANCE, SAMMIC, SILANOS, ST, UNIVERBAR, VEMA and WHIRLPOOL-INDESIT appliances.
