This filter holder gasket forms a seal between the portafilter and the group head of an espresso machine. Without it, water may leak around the edges rather than passing through the coffee, leading to uneven extraction. The gasket is crafted from food-safe elastomer, which compresses when the portafilter is locked in place, sealing the water path effectively.

To install, remove the old gasket carefully using a flat tool, avoiding damage to the group head. Press the new gasket into the circular groove of the portafilter basket holder until it sits evenly. Once in position, secure the portafilter in the group head and run a brief flush of hot water to verify the seal.

The gasket is a single moulded ring with an outside diameter of 70 mm, an inside diameter of 56 mm, and a thickness of 8.5 mm. These measurements correspond precisely to the portafilter baskets on the compatible machines, preventing distortion or leaks.

Compatible with Brasilia Belle-Epoque, Century, and Firenze models, as well as Cimbali M15, M20, M25, M27, M28, M29, M30, M31, and M32 espresso machines.

Cleaning involves rinsing under hot water after each use to remove coffee residues. Detergents are unnecessary, as the elastomer resists staining and absorption.
