A dough scraper divides, lifts and transfers dough without tearing or sticking. The flexible silicone blade conforms to the bowl or worktop, gathering every gram of dough while keeping the surface clean. The broad edge also portions dough for rolls, loaves or pastries, and the flat face scrapes flour and residue from the bench between batches.

The scraper's blade is silicone, which does not absorb moisture or fat and resists the acids in sourdough and enriched doughs. A red ABS plastic handle is moulded over the blade for a secure grip, even when the blade is cold or wet. The handle's shape spreads the load across the hand, reducing strain during long shaping sessions.

To use, press the blade against the bowl or worktop and draw it along the surface, gathering dough or scraping residue. The blade's flexibility lets it follow curves without leaving gaps. For portioning, press the edge into the dough and rock it gently to cut cleanly. The scraper is also used to lift dough from the bench and transfer it to a proving basket or tray.

The blade measures 70 mm deep and 420 mm long, giving enough reach to span standard mixing bowls and worktops. The silicone material withstands temperatures from -60 °C to 260 °C, so the scraper can be chilled for butter work or used near hot ovens without warping. The red ABS handle remains stable across the same range, keeping its shape and grip.

Both the silicone blade and the ABS handle are dishwasher-safe, allowing the scraper to be cleaned alongside mixing bowls and utensils. The materials do not absorb odours or stains, so the scraper stays hygienic between uses.
